it surely has Jimbo, thing is i mot'd it last week, as he was testing the brake and nothing was happening i said id just put new shoes in, he then said "oh, that would be it then, just need bedding in", great mot place, just like the good old days.
but i thought i'd best check why they had failed.

Never heard of a drum
brake, break
A rivet or two will
stop that - you could have
broken your neck

inside of the drum had a build up of dried on crud, had to scrape, sand and clean it up before new shoes went in. was keen to get out and try the new brake but the weather has come in

bike had been standing fora while because starting it was a pig, a new mikuni and a big blob of white paint on the timing wheel to help with the set up and it starts well.
