Non kawasaki project Im afraid, however my personal favourite as I had this when I was 17.
Complete restoration of GS750EC, in florida candy blue - painted in the green house as well-
Had I been more organised I would have really bored everyone to death with a suzuki, but it took me 3 years as I had a house move and 12 month build project and an office move in the middle of it
Parts were difficult to come by compared to Z parts - no pattern parts

cracking bikes the GS's, solid. are there any before and after photo's? is this the actual bike you had when you were 17?

No I had one like this , it does read like it was my one - which is well dead I think. I pulled this in from the states about 5 years ago , GSs on ebay at the time in the uk were thin on the ground, most of them street fightered etc. However there have been some really nice GS's coming out of the woodwork lately There are some pics of the bike in its original burgandy if you click on the photo, it wasn't particulary rusty. You will see pictures of a UK blue one I piked up for £700 about 18 months ago

I had one of those too.
I painted it blue with red wheels and swinging arm yeah I know it looked gash but it was the early eighties

I just dug out the only pic I still have of it for giggles...
Notice the jacked up backend I was a trend setter

I can do your restoration of your switches for that? Thats if you have ally switches and not the plastic ones...
there affordable right now, but prices will rise..
