Suzuki GT750 Frame and Engine numbers

Do Suzuki GT750 Frame and Engine numbers have to match to be correct or within a few hundred of each other like zeds? cheers.

Zeds are usually a bit more than a "few hundred apart" :wink:

John, apart from the first few bikes in 1972, the numbers are not matched: I have 2 unmolested Kettles and engine and frame numbers on both are about 1000 apart. Frame number should be lower number of the two.

same as ive a GT750A UK bike frame number lower than engine number :D
Ducati 1199R Race

Kawasaki ZXR750R M1
KTM SXF250
