Finally "bit the bullet" and bought a pair of Dunlop TT100's (K81) to replace my worn Appocoliptic's The bike has handled pretty poorly since I got it last year - and having done just over 1000 miles the tyres were due for a change.
I love the look of the old TT100's as thats what we all fitted back in the day (70's/80's) so I got hold of a tubed metric set: 19 x 100/90 & 18 x 130/80, for the grand sum of £218
The rear was a real b*****d to fit... the old one was stuck to the alloy rim... then it took a good hour of fiddling to get it seated okay!!!!!
Been out for a brief 10 mile run and the bike has been transformed
No more weaving when you take your hands off the bars, no more wandering and following road grooves...... I'm well pleased
Couple more photo's - just before I changed the tyres....
