Been riding the old beasty every day last week - had a couple of maintenance issues to resolve

#1 The coils needed replacing as one of the old pair was breaking down - fitted a twin outlet Dyna 3 ohm and all's sweet again.

#2 Friday got caught in a downpour on way home :?? and the thottle started to get real stiff; thought cable was fraying and getting stuck so got home using about 1/8 throttle so as not to snap the b*****d.

So today stripped the carb (Amal 930) and polished the slide & carb body. Then set the float height as it was running rich since I fitted the special "sink-proof" float. These carbs only have main jet - no pilot as the mix is controlled by float height at part throttle :!:

#3 Finally (after 3 yrs) got round to fitting the tank bagdes....

Used P38 to fix the nuts to the tank as I didn't want to risk welding or drilling the tank

Beautiful bike Mark!! What a beauty beauty beauty :drool
The top edge curve of the badge extends around further than the trummy logo,
is it supposed to be like that? Looks great whatever, and the smoothness of it
suits it more so than the old 'mouth organ' Bonny type logo badges.
Pure class mate. :up

My standard question:

Will a gpz1100 motor fit in it?
