My new Zed

#1 PostAuthor: coldsummer » Sat May 18, 2013 11:05 am

I must have an exceptionally good boy last year as Mrs CS bought me a brand new Z800 for Christmas. Unfortunately, nice as it was, it wasn't really the bike for me so Mrs CS kindly agreed for me to swap it for this....

Not everyone's cup of tea but I like it. Just need the arthritis in my hands to improve a bit so I can have a proper ride.

Already ordered a tail tidy Chris, and a smoked screen, and most importantly a lowering kit

Nice bike Simon,

One of the few new Kawas I would be interested in. My pal has one and he is very pleased with it.

Looks good with the factory touring gear on too - there is a nice film of it fully laden on YouTube.

Interesting how they have interpreted the 4:4 silencers from the early bikes in a few different ways since the modern Z1000 was launched.

Thanks guys, I'm really thrilled with it. I know a lot of chaps don't like the modern stuff but I'm happy to have a foot in both camps.
