After the "debacle" with my the CB200
.... I had to find another little ongoing project to sit in the back gound....
So..... been a few weeks since I got a new project .... just picked this little baby H**** up...... good ol' eBay
Last on the road in 2003 - been stored in a garage ever since. Runs - sounds real sweet, no smoke, no knocks, no rattles.......
Just needs new fork seals, thorough service (oil, filter, plug, etc) and new chain & sprox. The tyres have loads of tread - but as it's been sat for nigh-on 10 yrs - best get a new set
Its a 1989 model (last of them in UK) so it came with nice spoked wheels with alloy rims..... they'll polish up good!
First change will be the seat ... have to get a neat little clubman race single unit or summat similar. Then may hack a bit off the pipe
Cheap work hack & great backlane scratcher.... just need somewhere to keep it
and NO, Mrs P does not know anything about it (yet) as its stashed at work
