Triples club drag racing in the 80's...pics..

Shamelessy copied and pasted from the triples club board are these pics taken in the early 80's.I thought it may be of some interest here. 
Pictures of Rod Spry, all taken at what was Long Marston before it became Avon Park, or even Shakespeare County Raceway. The big concrete wall hadn’t been built and all the pits and activity was on the other side of the track from where it is now, and behind where the wall now stands.
How his bike evolved a little (this frame and rear hub evolved a lot more and are now part of the yellow bike Al Smith rides). In the second pic that is Kev Melling in the background, with the same H1 streetbike he ran until recently.
Nipper fixing a piston with, no doubt most helpful, instructions from
Roy Dean, and Masterblaster Keith. Also all taken at Long Marston.

And him again, with Al Smith on his S1. Not sure if he’d fitted the 400 motor by this time. How I now wish I’d bought that bike when it was offered to me by Ian Brison after Al had sold it on.
Martin bishop on his 500 road bike, trying to keep the Lectrons on the level. He reckoned they made it super economical as well as quicker.
