BEST SOUNDING BRITISH BIKE?

Hi all,
Dont know about you guys, but the triumph Trident sounds absolutly amazing, and this video captured the sound really well, real heavy metal sound, ignore the guys..

Agreed. Triumph / BSA triples sounded brilliant. I was at Oulton Park for one round of the first of the Anglo American Match Races, sponsored by Triumph) back in 1971. All of the riders (such as Ray Pickrell, Dave Aldana, Dick Mann, Gene Romero, Percy Tait, Paul Smart, Don Castro, Don Emde, John Cooper etc) rode these triples, all with 3-1 pipes. Jeez, what a noise :D

The next year they sold tape cassettes of the 1971 meeting (wish I still had it), but then it icluded Norton, HD (with the amazing Cal Rayborn) etc.

The series later became known as the Transatlantic Match Races.

Modern day Triumph (Speed) triple with Mivv can sounds none too shabby. Liked it so much I put one on mine!

Must agree, Manxs (plus G50s and 7Rs) sound the dogs b@ll@cks, and that does look nice.

Strange but true :oops: I always liked the sound of my Norton Commando 750 fastback wiv them long reverse cones on ticking over, the dam thing went through more pairs of leather gloves than it did tyres :lol:

Me and Baldylocks went there this year. The howl the Rob North triple made going through Eau Rouge was music to the ear.

a mate of mine had a bsa 650 manx racer,that was total bliss to hear coming down rd. :lol: but a close second was another mates 600 panther,sounding like it fired once every lamp post.
