Hubs were comando TLS front. The alloys had been drilled out in the centre & the hubs pressed in. :shock: Bought like this. Everyhing had been drilled, rr hub head, block, engine mount. Reg was AEL 236B

Unfortunately it died. The frame had been chromed when I bought it in 1980. when I started a resto in 1999 The frame had been eaten away from the inside. In places all that was left was the chrome!. Sold in bits to fund the Zed.
Tank had gas in the front & oil in the rear. Made for a sweaty ride. Handling was superb. I grounded the exhaust on a regular basis. Took my mates girlfriend on the back, very cosy, scared her to death tho'.

A mate of mine had a green CB200 (and a tassle jacket). when he got a 750four i wanted the CB but Dad wouldnt lend me the cash so i had to give it a miss

lucky the pics not in colour. 70's gold flake helmet. baggies with high waist band, oh for the days of a 32'' waist.

Mine was metalic green too. I thought is was the bollocks then coming from an SS50. Actually wanted a CB175 but couldn't find one.
