thats a beauty DDZ, mate mate restored a blue one 25 years ago when i had my first z9,we used to swap frequently, i loved the feel of that kettle. we still laugh to this day about the moment the centre pot kicked in and he hadnt realised it was only running on 2, i saw the smoke and the back wheel slide and off he went lol

Yes, it was on e-bay last year, the guy, I sold it to, was hoping to sell it on for nearly double what he payed me for it, shame on him, needless to say he failed, I took 3 years to restore the bike, and showed it at Bristol bike show.
it was a great bike, and very nice to ride..and sorely miss..
and was"nt too bad to start, sometime it would"nt, but once you got the knack, it was ok..

Yesterday I finished this!
Taken just under a year, complete strip and rebuild, need to get a couple of rubber washers and two lower fairing screws, replace a couple of indicator lenses that I thought I'd get away with and she's done.
Next project is a Harris Magnum 2 when it gets here from the UK.

Thank you, it still need a final polish and detail, the light was shite and the picture was taken with an iphone, but you get the general idea.
I'll post a picture once its polished, the paint work is fantastic, done by Bob who is a member on here and moved to Australia a few years ago he knows quite a few of you lot , small World eh!
