Spent the morning checking out the motor - wouldn't turn over with the kickstarter. I took the plugs out last night & tipped some red diesel in to soak. Tried turning it over this morning - nope :shock:

Removed the sump plug and what looked like 2 pints of deisel fell out. So decided to check under the clutch cover.....

....that shitty looking lump in front of the clutch is the oil pump !!!!!!

Must have had a "damp problem" during tis 22 yr lay-up! So lets check it out properly..... engine out & get the head off....

That all looks good..... next the barrels..... check the pistons too....

The R/H con rod is a bit "notchy" on the crank :?? so thats it - end of my dreams :evil: eBay for this little Hondor :roll:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
