Hhhmmmmmmm. Now I'm confused! Mine was H1 (1989) which I got in 92. That says the first to have ram air was L1, L2 & L3 in 1993. Mine definately had ram air so must have the airbox swopped a year before it was available :?: and thats assuming it was possible to fit it!

Thanks for all the posotive comments, as far as the hoover pipes go when i take the tank off i will take a photo, i always thought they were decorative rather than functional but still quite cool. I bought the bike near Northants so its not your old bike im afraid Warren.
Phil - I sold my Rgv, this ticked alot of boxes as a replacement including the all important Spa entry form.
Martin - the manual would be great I'm sure an arrangement can be made.
Its already got a Hagon shock on it and new fork seals but im going to pull it to pieces before Spa to check everything. I had heard the belt was trouble.

H1 hoover pipes were mainly decorative and didn't connect to the airbox.
I've had a few including the one that donated it's running gear to my Z1R.

Looks great Dave, i have been having exactly the same thought for the last six months as a spare trackday bike.
Are you taking it to Spa?

I nearly bought a 1991 J reg SINGLE SEAT K1 version in 1995!!

I really wish I had bought it as they are pretty thin on the ground now.
