i've had a little success with the link pipe, ended up cutting/grinding the link pipe off, then cut the top/clamp section off, fabricated a new tube and welded it all back together, splash of anti rust it n covered the whole lot in exhaust paint
quite chuffed with the end result, esp as work was dead busy and i ended up doing it myself at home n defo happy at not having to shell out on a new pipe
