Had quite a few RSs & mexs mk1 & mk2 ! i would say the best 1 was a ugly coloured cadoba beige droop snoop rs2000 with twin 45s, 5 speed ,lsd, 4-branch, rolltops, big brakes etc good fun :lol: my lad has recently sold a genuine RS1800 MK2 (BIG BIG CASH) :wink:

After owning/restoring about 20 RS Escorts they now give me nightmares :D

Yes definitely a standard restoration Steve.I am told that signal amber is by far the most coveted colour for a MK2 Mexico.I am not one for deviating from standard anyway and especially with this car, that is fully documented from new,including the original bill of sale from Perrys of Finchley..
