This fell in my lap at Donington, scrubbed up reasonable with some PJ1, Siver Plasticote , and BBQ paint. looking forward to it maiden voyage, its the smallest thing I've ridden for nearly 48 years

Thats quite a find , a fairly rare model even over here . Don't listen to the MZ mockery they really are good bikes albeit with original styling ! I can see some parts on yours that have been directly lifted from my Etz . If it worked they used it again and again .
In fact with all that 1 cylinder torque its just waiting for a sidecar to be bolted on !

Smaller capacity bikes take more skill to ride fast.
As someone who ran a trackday event for the Blackbird OC, I can honestly say that any moron can ride a big bike quickly, but very few can ride one fast.
A well ridden smaller capacity bike can run rings around most large capacity bikes ridden by those with limited skills.

Well said lad! Back in the day...... our little gang would race anything (and I mean anything) on the road, on our 250's...... don't ever remember much passing us in town or the twisties
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
