Started to buy and sell bikes!

I bought a Ducati 600TL a couple of weeks ago off Gumtree, didn't run and had been stood for some time, negotiated a price of $2,000. Took her back to mine and spent all day giving her a good detail, sold her on Sunday afternoon for $4,500, still didn't get her running!

So with that I've set a search up on Gumtree and click on it three times a day, Wednesday night this popped up! The girl who was selling it was fed up with bikes and hadn't used it for a couple of years. Managed to steal it off her for $2,000, the good thing about this bike is its LAMS approved (Aussie thing, basically its approved for learners) which is a bonus!
The fuels off and she needs a new battery, but she's very clean, going to give her the once over full degrease and detail and shove her on eBay and Facebook, should double me money.

Thats a sweet little bike, sadly after my GSXR750 foray I'm just too fat for a crotch rocket!
Wish I could spot a bargain and sell it... I just tend to buy and keep :shock:

I would like to keep all the bikes but I'm just not "into" Ducati's, saying that I have quite a few being left to me when my old mate pop's it!

I'll post a picture on Saturday afternoon once I've finished.

I had a picture of Pantah 500 on my wall in my room when I was in the RAF (early days). Itwas from superbike so came with boobs.
She asked if I was embarrased by it? i said "no, its a good bike"

A few years pass and we were at a bank function and one of her male colleagues was prattling on about the "birds" and why I was looking "so bored" (let's be fair, bank managers can be a bunch of wankers)
My wife chips in, "if it doesn't have two wheels, he probably won't be interested! "
