John here are a few pics,dug the bike out today chucked a bucket of water over it,put a drop of as in and away she went first time,just draining the oil of now.
Less than 24k from new all mots to prove,keep meaning to restore but probably will just leave as is..Cheers Paulj Ps still got the original Gis Kuhn plates and stickers from when it was supplied!

I always thought the GS looked so much bulkier than a Z1.

Love it Paul. Wish it was mine, nice patina, our transatlantic brothers would call it a survivor
are the bars original as I thought all UK bikes had low rise jobs, perhaps an option from new? Very cool bike mate :luv

Came with those bars John reckon they are Z or gs c bars,all the cables look standard though,its actually an early Gs1000H...
