Early ones, with the fluted tank, seem to have black air boxes with no covers, but they otherwise look the same, did they just add chrome bling to the same airbox
Pretty sure they are just covers,fitted some to a C model i had,think engines are the same on Cv and slide models,had both the Cvs can be a pain if you dont have a good seal on the airbox and decent gen exhaust..The Gs resources is an excellent site albeit American ,loads of good info...
