I've always liked those GT500's, never owned one. Remember reading a test report back in the day where they tood one to death valley in 130 degree heat and thrashed it all day. Apparently, it never missed a beat.
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it.

Z750 PROJECT
Up date re Z750. Back end nearly sorted? Purchased rear shocks from Stafford show. But unable to find a rear calliper in good condition, so the search goes on
. New chain and sprockets on, repro rear indicaters plus lots of wire brushing re nuts and bolts and looking good.
Shall add photo's next week as work away.

You need to have owned one to understand. Felt the same as yourself years ago re BMW being an old farts bike and an old style. But once you have one you need more. From a K1200lt, GS1150 and the rocket ship K1200r. Just working through bucket list of bikes to own b4 I kick the bucket. And working up to a Z1jimmock wrote:Aerialo,
I'm REALLY SORRY, but looking at the BMW makes me cringe!!!
Lovely paint, but that is about it for me I'm afraid.
