It came with a wad of paperwork and although I've only had a quick look, it appears that the bike has been altered to make it look newer. Crash damage repaired? Dunno.
Log book says it's a 1999 T509 Speed Triple 885cc.

I reckon I'd make my money back if I broke it but I like the look of this bike and would like to get it up and running.

I'll go through the paperwork word for word and update with my findings.
Shortened version of course :D

Hes also built/modified many of them. He also used to be a member on here many years ago, he'd a uk 73 and one of the nicest Z!b's ive seen.

Cheers for the info floydsz1.
I have looked at the paperwork that came with the bike. In 2008 it was in having a starting problem and was attributed to the kick stand switch so the current fault is probably something far more serious :D
It has been fitted with Showa usd's with a billet top yoke and renthals.
Full stainless exhaust with cans either side of the aftermarket german short tail with led light. Brembos and braided on the front. Lights and nose are off a KTM Duke.
Tank is a 1050 and was new when fitted. Paperwork also mentions the swing arm is off a 1050.

I hate wiring faults as it just as well be atomic physics to me.

Mind you, I haven't charged the battery yet to see if there is a spark!

Sadly, the H1d has got to go but not the best time to sell a bike :(

The trumpets an absolute bargain at £600, you bought well :up
