Have had ( back in the day) escort 1300 gt ( with the four small clocks ) in mustard ... And then a cortina 1600gt in red ( with the four clocks above on the middle of the dash) then a 1600E in gold ( with the four clocks in the middle of the dash) sorry no photo's as I was into girls and going out, and not taking photos.. But always wanted a mark 1 lotus ( white 2door with the green stripe ) but that's never gonna happen now... Like rocking horse poo, sprinkled with hens teeth dust...

Some lovely photos of some old school fords, brings back some good memories , I had a mk2 escort that started life as a 1.1 popular 2 door. When I sold it it ran a stage 2 1750 burton crosser with fast road cam, twin 40, s , pipercross filters s, borg and beck, 5 speed sierra box , 3:54 lsd, sitting on spax strutts and billy, s/ konis on the back, 7inch minilites with p6, s on the deck. It was white, harrier stripes, cibie super oscars on the brakets with corner bumbers and lower valance with mesh vents, 2 seats only , no carpets, fire wall, cage with door bars ( funny when a girl tried to get in waring a short skirt), corbeau, s with willans 3 points..... and no radio cassette because it breathed thruogh a 2 1/4 inch janspeed off a four branch with one box under the boot......and that is all from memory.
Think I sold it for about a grand around 1989ish  ....will find a picture and post it...should have one in the old album... :D ...remember them !?
