The video was short but fine.
A bit like a trailer to a feature film, keeping us all guessing how the story will unfold.

I like it a lot Mr Pigford.

Is it to go with your Triumph?

It must be Old Age creeping in - what with the Trumpet (650 Twin); W650 (650 Twin) & not this XS (650 Twin)

Its a lot more grunty = less refined, which I like & sounds nice & harsh

Got into work this morning & there was a strong smell of pertol though my office :?? The fuel hose was not a tight fit - I forgot to fix the clip back on and it had been weeping all night

Anyhow, the new pointsarrived today so I'll get and change them tomorrow as well as get some fresh fuel as there was a fair bit of water on the floor under the bike, mixed in with the petrol - which won't help with the spitting and rough running

I've now fitted a Boyer ignition system (still better than points) and given it an oil change & cleaned the filters (there's a pair of washable metal mesh oil filters in these old beasts) and just need to fit a spare good battery - the Boyer kit must have a decent +12v to work properly :!:

Also put a fresh set of front sintered pads in to see if that'll improve the single disc  I've also got a pair of 34mm flatslide carbs on there way from the USA.

Hope to be able to get it running half right by the end of the week
