Jim

I've has a 893cc and a 954 Blade in the past and they were great machines. I think you might appreciate what all the fuss was about when they first came out if you ride your straight after a ride on the Zed.

Great machines. Just different to UJMs

Well UJ, you converted to the 'modern'sportsbike/plastic fantastic then?
I'm running a similar set up just now but its a 600 from another Japanese manufacturer from the same yr as your blade. I'm hating it and have even changed what I wear when riding so no one recognises me!

Guyz,

Was out on the blade tonight for a wee run with VJMC.

I've now been out THREE times and done about 100 miles.
Not sure what to make of it yet.
The riding position is really alien to me.

I'm not convinced that a modern bike is for me.
