Isn't it amazing what a bit of despair in terms of not being able to ride a bike in Winter can make of you ?

Roughly the best two wheels that ever came from behind the iron curtain. I loved mine every single moment I had it, but then the lust for a Dnepr overcame me (big mistake).

ST1100
I never thought I would get so comfy, but age and concession to my wifes comfort have finally caught up. We Have booked the boat and we are driving to the Algarve next year from Scotland, so I invested in a Pan European, totally diff style of bike, it cant be short shifted thats for sure, I will possibly need to go on one of these cop courses as I know they can be hustled by the boys in blue. caught doing 130 on my old zed once,

Best run in recent years, Faro 2,500 miles, roads to die for. Applecross (NW 500) also awesome roads, current bikes, Z1, GPZ1100, ZRX1100, HD Fat bob.
Should add main bike is still my ZRX also got a CBR1000, GSX600, Aprillia Pegasso, GSX400 GPZ1100, oh and an old Z1

As a matter of fact, I do know. What if Degener had never defected ? We'd probably be driving German 2-strokes... ? Bimotas V-due injezione might have been a Volkswagen Vau-Zwei-Einspritzer. We'll never know.

Cheers,
Greg
