Jules,

There are a couple of twin steers on the layout.

No "proper Chinese Sixies" though.
There are a number of Foden 8 wheelers and Leyland Octopus's on the top shelf, which cannot be seen too well. These date from late 40's early 50's.

Routeman six's I was looking for as run buy shell down here in the west country.
Hope the recovery company don't make to many sparks picking up the skellies dropped on their noses next to the fuel depot,must sack the drivers!!!

Jim do you have a Commer TS3 Knocker in the collection, my dad had a tipper version in bright yellow, we knew when he was coming home, you could hear it from bloody miles away, good old two stroke.

I've met a lot of guyz who thought the TS was Two Stroke!!

The supercharger is a "running requirement" and not a "power enhancing device".

The two stroke diesel cannot draw air, it needs to be force fed. It is also required for scavenging the cylinder of exhaust gases..
