Bled to death
Just arriving back home from my Z1b MOT I noticed quite a few spots of oil on my boots, the bike was put on its side stand and proceeded to bleed to death, it looked to be coming from the gear selector area. Dudes Last year got my bike MOT'd, as I put it in the garage from the MOT station it proceeded to bleed oil all down the side stand onto the garage floor, I cannot see where it came from but the full contents of the sump has gone, is there a common seal that can go? Thanks for that, my oil leak was somewhat more serious as the full contents of the engine ran down the sidestand within 5 minutes of stopping the bike!! I can see how the talc thing would work on a less serious leak but the bike would smell like a tarts habdbag on a night out....each to their own, l...
