I managed to sneak out today for the first proper post-Winter shakedown. I'm pleased to say that most of the mods faired beautifully, and nothing (other than drips of oil) fell off! :D I'm still chasing a few annoying leaks such as the usual cam cover even though I lifted it off the other week to re...

That's just grand! I have a proper hankering for a period Harris... :) I might be tempted to part with it once done. I simply cant screw myself in to a small enough shape to get my feet on the pegs. Harris must have used jump jockeys to design the thing back in the day. Certainly not 6ft 50 somethi...

However he says the head needs to come off unfortunately :( at least it's a step forward though rather than having to ship it back to the UK. Coose the chain alignment is checked with ...

Does it not just cover for fire and theft only Al? I used to have a similar policy with the NFU on one of my old KTMs and it was quite specific....

Looking on CMSNL the ZRX adjusters are different part numbers, with the left-hand one being some €17 cheaper than the right-hand. That maybe indicates that the narrow one is on the left, though sadly there are no dimensions so this post probably hinders more than helps....

That's fine Paul, it'll get painted anyway. How much are you asking including postage?

Ah, I see, so the main bracket is for the stock caliper? I suppose that you could have a disc made if it came to it. It shouldn't be too pricey with it being quite simple.

Blimey, Congo, who've you annoyed? Yes, cutting away the pads is definitely a bodge as what's left won't be pushed square on to the disc. I for one use the rear brake a lot, so I like it to be right... As pretty as it may be, why don't Over just make a bracket that fits? The Goldfren catalogu...

You're definitely going to need a bigger disc in there Lee as you'll wear a step into your pads until they touch, plus your pads will be pressed on to the disc out-of-square. Without a bit of butchering of the lovely caliper bracket a replacement disc would probably be your only option, but luckily ...
