It was the Bonnie inspired one that caught my eye. 1400 big bore motor, on Mikuni throttle bodies, beautifully packaged into a z650 frame. Very original idea in a well-engineered package with a great choice of parts. Stunning.

Lovely Zed at Mr. Debben's today.

I was out collecting my new rear-end from a certain Mr. Debben today and saw a great work of art. I'm guessing she belongs to someone on here and don't know whether it's ok to post the pictures I took. Either way... gorgeous bike !

Very interesting reading and just at the right time too. The Maxton kit sounds wonderful, particularly with external adjustment. Price is price, I've always believed in British engineering and there is no doubt Maxton do it right. If you buy quality you only have to buy it once.

Hey Ade ,I was asking who owned it so I could say hello, but no-one knew, so I guessed you were busy with a race team. Your bike was getting more attention than the Lambo that was parked by the side of it for a while.Nice.

No mate,it's the original 1974 starter motor, refurbed in 1993 ! Does a great job of turning her over. No kickstart ever needed, engine always starts easily. By the way,no valve guide wear in 11000 miles ( in 11 years ) not too shabby for a 1327. Engine was PROPERLY built in full by a certain Mr.Ray D...
