I use one off these.I also use one of those telescopic magnets aswell to get the shim out and long nose players to put it back. Hi citric acid bought off ebay works really well and non caustic so wont damage paint i diluted in warm water and left in tank for 24 hours empty then a bag of fish tank gravel with lots of wd 40 then shake about until your arms drop off empty rinse and dry off in front room on wife's best towel.
