LTDs are marmite bikes, they are the cheapest way to get a Z1000, but a lot of owners change them, that's fine, just makes ours worth more

I've got a tap Tap Tapping noise Al , I'll have a decco at the cam chain adjuster.

Now I did try leaning it over both sides and it did seem to be less when I lent it over to the offside, why has it just started doing it, I mean it has not got progressively worse, one ride it wasn't there next ride it was, oils only been in about 900 miles.

Change the fuse, I have had a few (5 so far this year ) main fuses blow right at the end and the fuse still looks ok , I put it down to Chinese made shite.

Everything works as it should including fuel gauge, charging is spot on, battery is 1yr old yuasa AGM and keeps charge if disconnected, I'll have a poke about with the multi meter.

When I leave the ltd for a couple of weeks the battery is down enough to stop me starting it, before I start poking about with a multi meter I thought I'd ask here first, is the fuel gauge live all the time as it doesn't move when you switch off.

Nice thumper then Ade, s and s carb, lumpy cams, and straight through slash cuts should be on the shopping list.

After having had a new one, be ready to change all the chrome as it peels off, different way of riding, you cannot compare it to a Z though.
What size engine is it ?.

I am still looking for this elusive part, if anyone's got one no matter how rusty, as long as it is re chromeable I'm interested.
