82 GPZ\ 750 R1 forks

I might need some new stanchions as mine are pitted (passed last MOT with gaiters) Been looking and noticed mine are different than Z,KZ,GT etc. The only ones i can find are the KZ750 twin. Will Gt etc legs fit in my fork clamps and will the axles on my bike fit them too. Thanks

Didnt know you could adjust the auto ones i thought they did it themselves.

I read somewhere you had to rotate the motor to the 1-4 T mark before removing.

Cam chain tensioner

Going to remove my auto cam chain tensioner tomorrow. Is it a matter of just undoing the 2 bolts or is there more to it. I want to clean it and make sure it is working properly as i have a rattle. Thanks

Got a rattle

The bike has a rattle coming from the engine. You can feel it slightly through the frame on tick over. When i give it a tiny bit of throttle it seems to die down. When i am riding you cant hear it. It sounds like the cam chain. What do you think? Thanks
