Hi Guys, has anyone out there got a seat that will fit a Z1000J? Not fussed regarding condition as it's for a project not a rebuild. Prefer it to have all fitments underneath as the one that came with the bike has gone missing - I think it was nicked along with some other items from the garage, but ...

I know about the swap scheme, but until I can acquire a set then I have nothing to swap

Thank you for a most generous offer! :D In the early hours I was trawling ebay and am now in 'negotiation' on a Zthou tank that is sound, and not too badly dented should I decide to go that route. Just wish a Z650 would fit as there are minters about for next to nothing :roll: If 'negotiations' fall...

I've trawled ebay and they're about the same prices as Z1/Z900.
Was hoping something else might fit that was cheaper like Z650.

Can anyone tell me if any other model tanks will fit onto a Z1 frame with little (or preferably no) modification?
I know a Zthou will go on, but anything off of others like a Z650?
Just need something to fit whilst sorting the project out.
