Fork preload

Should there be a spacer on top of the fork spring on a z1000a1?
I have two manuals one shows a spacer the other does not, if it should have one does anyone know the standard size.

Thanks

I will give them a call tomorrow see what if any solution they offer?
Failing that do you know what size spacer it would need and where to get one from?

Wiseco Gasket

My Wiseco piston kit has come with a one piece gasket.
Do you still fit the o ring around the chain slot?

Engine work

Looking for recommendations for somewhere to get some engine work done.
Re bore and possibly valve seats/guides?
Ideally in the midlands

Thanks

Help

Drained the oil for the first time today on my z1000 a1 and this came out on the plug? Only thing I could think of was upper chain tensioner, took cam cover of and all is ok. Anywhere else it could of come from? http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/kennytcr/part_zps872d1ba7.jpg
