ive always liked the look of the yamaha vmax and they do seem to be holding price, they are collecting a cult following, i dont think they can be too fragile otherwise they wouldnt be holding price like they are. but they may be too old now i dont know. Headlight fault Z900A4
Hi Guys, just getting the bike ready for mot. The headlight on full beam is bright but on dip goes dull. Then I found that on dip both the elements inside the bulb are both on at about half brightness. Any ideas why both elements are being powered up?

Are you totally happy with the valve clearances and timing. Sounds like it could be a tooth or two out? Just a thought! Valve clearances are fine, all between 0.1 and 0.15. Just split a perished no3 and no4 (R) not looking great. Anyone got any in reasonable condition please?
