Z1B Side Covers

Hi. I have bought a Z1B and I am to have a paint job done on it soon. The chain oiler on the "B" was discontinued. The cover on the bike still has the hole for the dipstick. Is this right or wrong side cover.

Thanks for the link. Have spoken to Simon today, Tuesday. Have booked a slot in. He must be good, my slot is November. Looking at his work, its worth the wait. Thanks again for your help.

Paint job

I am thinking of restoring a Z1B I have bought. I have been searching for someone who sprays the old Kawasaki method, Paintworkz in the US do it but it is expensive. Does anyone know of someone here who does the same.

Z1AExhausts

I have some orig exhausts and have been trying to remove the baffles. They seem a bit stuck to be tight, may be rusted a bit. Been pulling gingerly on the central bar of the baffle, but worried it might snap. Any ideas what I coud do to get them out. Thanks

Z1AExhausts

Hi, I have somehow posted the question on the New Here board. To cut it short, I have a 73 Z1A. Build date 11/73. What is the correct exhaust numbering for it. I have the numbers KH1900Z1/750Z2DGM13236S on my exhausts. I have seen an Ausie forum which states that the numbers for the A are smaller at...

Z1AExhausts

Hi All. 1st post. I expect you have read this question before. I have just got a Z1A with a build date of 11/73. I have searched to try and find the correct numbering for the correct exhausts. Mine are KH1900Z1/750Z2DGM13236S. I have seen the question asked in an Aussie forum. They said that the num...
