I had acquired a leaking original Z1 tap and Ade on this site suggested soaking the complete tap in a jar of petrol for a few days which I did and it worked. No more leaks after about 6 weeks but I'm keeping an eye on it.

3 great bikes and sufficiently different (from each other) to make them good choices. To say the Z1 and the GS are worlds apart is like saying the H2 is swift. An understatement!. The 7 years difference in handling, braking, power delivery is incredible but I still prefer the Z1 - anytime. (Unless ...

Manual says 49.5cms standard. Just measured mine at 50.5, Z power's are 52.5cms so quite a difference.
Think I'll give them a go ( with 15 grade oil)

Cheers guys.

Thanks for that knowledge John. Saves me trying to fix a fault that is built in!

Do need to sort out the damping though. I'll try the 15 grade fork oil and see what difference it makes.

Thanks guys and gals. A great way to spend a few hours on a warm Sunday afternoon - riding each other's bikes. Only trouble is I now realise how bad mine is! Checked what fork oil I use. Rockoil SVI 10 Think Paul said use 15 not 10. Any other thoughts? Could the 10 oil be causing the constant ...

Midz meet Sept 28

I presume this meet it still on? I've seen nothing about it but hopefully a few will be there. Just to say, those arriving from Hinckley direction on A5 won't be able to turn right onto A444/Redgate so you'll have to ride past - probably for about a mile till you get to first roundabout near Atherst...
