Rear sprocket bolts
Hi I am replacing the chain and sprockets on my Z1A. Have the DID 630 pack ready to go. However the thread on the original bolts has seen better days so I'm wanting to replace them. Can you still get them, can I rethread the old ones or should I just replace them with high tensile steel hex? Thanks ...

H2 vs Z1A brake Caliper
I appear to have an H2 brake Caliper on my Z1A. Was either Caliper better than the other when it came to stopping?
Just wondering if I should leave it as it is or find an original and replace it?

Thanks both. I will take a look at the eBay one first A1John rather than deplete your supply of personal spares. But many thanks for the offer it's appreciated.

Thanks again all. I will strip the new loom back and match from there.
I will take a note as I do it and if I can come up with a clever way of showing it I'll post it.

Wiring convention
Something along the lines of reading off the wiring diagram from left to right feed wires into the blocks in that order working from bottom left to top right. I suspect I am clutching at straws and I'll have to match them up by stripping back the new loom to have a look. Just thought I would ask fir...

Wiring conventions
Hi all, I have a new loom from Z Power but all the connecting blocks from the existing associated items to attach to it i.e. switches, ignition etc have been removed. I have the mini connector blocks coming from VWP Ltd and a wiring diagram from the owners manual. I don't want to have to strip back ...

Mikuni 28 carbs for spares, emulsion tubes 16047-002
I'm hunting for a set of carbs for my Z1A for spares, in particularly I'm looking for the emulsion tubes 16047-002. I know that they are generally no longer available..... But hoping someone might have some knocking around somewhere and be willing to part with them to help get another Z1a back on th...

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I came across the thread talking about Dave Zedhead getting some for the club just after I posted! Think I must have directed my original search to the bike help only forum. Still learning! Anyway sent Dave a PM last night and will plan to call him soon with a ...

4 into 4 exhausts
Hi guys some pointers would be appreciated. My Z1A restoration is progressing. I want to put back a 4 into 4 system. I have tried searching the forums for views on where I could get one from. It appears that Z Power stock a pattern version, are there any other sources and if so are there any differe...
