Need someone to rebuild 77 Z1000 engine in Glasgow area
I have a 77 A1 which has had the engine (good running order) stripped so that the cases could be chemically stripped and re-painted, they had previously been powdercoated and then they discolored. I was hoping to find a knowledgeable club member to do the rebuild rather than trust it to a bike sho...

Hi All, Thanks for the advice and tips, have contacted Steve Smethurst and will be taking the parts to him on my next visit down South. There is a possible fly in the ointment in that it had been previously blasted and powder coated, I have had the powder coat chemically stripped, which has revealed...

Hi Guy's
I would like to get my crankcases, barrels and cylinder head cleaned and either painted or powder coated.
Can you recommend anyone in Central Scotland or even NW England ?
Thanks in advance
Robert...

polishing a Harris 4 into 1
Hi guys,
I was talking to my local chrome platers ref getting a Harris re-chromed, down pipes aren't too bad but the silencer is a bit tatty.
Plater suggested getting the silencer polished !
Anyone ever done this and was the finish any good ?
Cheers
