Hope you don't mind me jumping in on this thread. I am just about to refit my exhausts but did not pay attention when I took the pipes off as I just assumed it would be like my ZXR & KH.......then the shells fell out... I have looked on the parts diagram and it shows the shells inserted first th...

Thank you for the name. I will make some enquiries. I have been reading some articles and I think it will be not possible to do what I want as the existing chrome has to be removed and that will be difficult on the exhaust header clamps. BTW, just a long shot Adrian but did you use to live in Romsey...

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any names for the suppliers? Also I tracked down a front engine bolt of a Z1000 1978 would that be the same as the Z1B bolt?

Wotcha!

Does anybody have a front engine bolt (92091022) to sell for a Z1B.

My Zed did have crash bars fitted which I am removing and I would dearly love to get the proper bolt for the engine mount at the front.
