ordered today £29!! very reasonable, had a look at the wiring piece of pi** don't know if I will mount it behind side panel or under battery box. will wait till it arrives to see where is best :D

Z900 A4 regulator/rectifier

I am looking to replace the original regulator and rectifier with a combined unit. Z power one says it's for z1 73-75, anyone know where to get one [preferably in uk] and know of any pit falls I could come across. Thanks in advance Chris

sounds like valve stem/oilseals to me when you shut the throttle it creates a vacuum pulling the oil down the valve stems into the cylinders and when you open the throttle again burns the oil giving a puff of smoke worn bores/ duff rings would smoke all the time and you would notice exessive oil con...

since it was pointed out to me i have a uk no plate bracket on a us style rear mudguard ever time i go in the garage i notice how wrong it looks :oops: does any one have a us no plate bracket for a A4 they would part with for some beer tokens cheers chris
