Ticking the mods off the list. The new loom is now finished, I fitted a spade type fuse box for ease and convenience. The coils and headlamp are powered by micro relays which are tidily tucked away out of sight. Pattern Reg/Rec from Zpower was giving some strange voltage outputs - this has now been ...

So, I got side tracked again. The modifications seem to progress in a haphazard fashion.... The Ltd wiring was a bit of a pain, the Ltd handlebars have the wiring running through them, the standard bars do not. The Doremi Z1 harness I had bought for this mod was adapted to fit. I'm using pattern swi...

Update. The double edge seal on the gear selection shaft has done the trick, no weeping so far. Result! >> The weeping generator cover has proven a touch frustrating! As said I've tackled this before - I'm going for shares in new gaskets..... The Wurth sealant is suitable for use in oil, it showed n...

Frame Straightening?
Tried searching but can't seem to find much newer than 2007
Does anyone have a good contact for frame straightening?
The Guy I used last time for the A4 has retired.

Osram 'Night breaker unlimited' are standard fit H4 bulbs - extra output without using more amps. Halfrauds etc... As Paul says - the standard 40 year old wiring/switches can be used to operate a relay - micro relays from auto electrical supplies would fit inside the headlamp shell. http://www.autoe...

November week 1 update. This restoring lark is catching  Back in August I bumped into my friend Brian at the local bike shop. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff247/vulpip07/Z1andZ900_2015_1.jpg Registration didn't go as smooth as I had hoped, I was a touch disappointed to receive a 75 'N' re...
