Z1000r uk bike which mirrors are correct ?

Can anyone tell me which mirrors are correct on a uk z1000r lawson please ? I thought the uk bikes had the smaller version of the european bikes ones !!
Trying to upload a picture of the two thpes i have . Any help appreciated

Hi, is the american l/h switchgear the same as a uk one, for a 78 z1r. think a usa one has some wires in a block connector. Regards ross

i rang motoliner up, and sound like they are on the ball., and very helpful so i am stripping the bike down to the s/arm etc over weekend and taking it there on tuesday. whilst it is there, they are welding the kosman bracing kit on as i am worried if i weld on before they may find it difficult to s...

my problem is the engine is stripped right down and the rear is being monoshocked at the moment, and discovered it was bent as i couldnt align the rear end with the front. so used a plumb line and found stg head bent to one side so its all in a bit of a mess.

z1r and mk2 frame the same ?

just stripped my zir down to the frame and discovered it has a bent steering head, so unless i can get it jigged whilst stripped,i am trying to get hold of a frame as all the rear mtgs etc have been ground off as well. but is a mk2 frame the same , or can i get my frame straightened whilst stripped....

i have discovered mine has a twisted stering head, and its all stripped down. i dont need a v5 as i would want to put my numbers on it. any help appreciated. ross

Yes, talking about the same item. Z1r and z1000 use different throttle cables as well, according to parts books. Seems odd. I have been using quick action throttle as well, fancy going back to original type. And need a tube.

Hi, need a throttle tube for my 78 z1r , but is a Z1000 a1 a2 the same, i know they are different part numbers but not sure if thats because of the grip that comes with it, any ideas ? Ross
