Fitted Newtronic about 10 yrs ago and was great. However increased exhaust heat/ proximity of exhaust when I put on the 4:4 meant I melted the lead from the points cover to the black box. Ok. I've been fannying about with it while we've been online. The thin O ring carrier can go in either side , but the fat one only just gets its O ring into the swingarm recess if put on the non-chain side. So it probably isn't meant to be there.
