Not much work on the Z this winter, being working on the Suzuki A100 that the South Cheshire VJMC are restoring for Macmillan Cancer Support. Looking forward to some good weather - Roll on the...

My leathers are still wet from the ride there.
But it was worth going, won a pie dish even though the bike was filthy.
Some geeza on a Z1000 won a big pie dish, but even more surprising was that he was there in the rain. Still cleaning it Gary ?

Well done Garry

Another top result for the Z1B, didnt think you were going to do it until the last award though.

What a great show of bikes - mechanical eye candy for everyone.
The 550 even picked up a gong - NICE!!!

What are you doing tomorrow ?

I'm in Bradford, so a quick detour round Goole shouldn't be too bad.

If you are in, PM me your Postcode and house number.

Jim

PS You wouldn't have a set of Z1B fork stanchions / internals would you (I have the legs) ?

Z1B Liner

Hi, Does anyone have a standard Z1B Liner (66 to 66.1 mm diameter) ?

I got the only one John Browse had in stock, but after a gentle hone, the centre of the liner is pitted with corrosion and the piston ring gap is out all the way up, which probably will not help compression.

Regards

I should have known. Fluff does a good job! I should be getting a Z650 in the near future which is partly modified and was wondering whether to return to standard, or modify. As my ZR7 has white clocks and they look great, i think i should continue with the customisation - White faced chrome clocks ...
