KZ650 Spring Clip

Rebuilding the carbs on my KZ650 C3. They are the type with an accelerator pump mechanism. Associated with this system, there is a little "ball valve" mechanism mounted in the float bowl, held in with a tiny "G" shaped spring clip. Guess what? I managed to lose one of these clips...

Wanted LTD Shorty Front Mudguard

Anybody out there in Zedland got a LTD style shorty front mudguard they want shot of?
Mate of mine is building a cafe racer, and reckons a shorty is exactly what he wants!

Cheers

Thanks for all the replies guys! Thanks to Z1parR, he's going to lend me one! Thanks to Jimmock for his observations, its not a bizarre set up - its a "characterful" one! Just cos I can go fast without getting flies in my face like you "round tankers"! Thanks to TLC for dropping ...

Shed front brake levers

Greetings all! Anybody got a secret stash of Z1R front brake levers? Broke mine on the way back from the Germany bash - all very embarrassing, and I'll let TLC tell the story! Seems that replacements are very thin on the ground at all the usual establishments, and I wondered if somebody could lend m...

Hi Ross Removing the lock is a function of inserting the key in the lock, with the cover removed. I just did the same job on my Z650. Problem comes when you don't have the key - I suspect you are up a smelly river with no propulsion device! As you say, time to get the drill out!!! Good Luck! Mark

I suspect we've all been down this road! Kawasaki have a special tool that goes down inside the leg to hold the internal gubbins while you undo the allen bolt. Or, if you put it all back together and find somebody with a "rattle gun", the sort of thing that Fastfit mechanics take your car ...

Germany Camping

Anybody know what the camping arrangements are for the Z rally in Germany yet? I'm travelling over with some of the guys, but they sorted themselves out with "posh" accomodation ages ago - I have to content myself with camping, but havn't found anything significant on the forum yet! :?? Ch...

Greeting Bill!

Nice to hear from someone in the mysterious East!!!
It would be nice to get together for a ride with some fellow members.
I was thinking in the next couple of weeks or so, over a weekend, when I'm off shift, weather permitting of course!

Cheers!

East Anglian Ride Out

G'day Everybody!
Any East Anglian Zedists fancy a meet up, and a ride out anytime soon, now the weather seems to be with us? I was thinking North Norfolk coast or something?
