Thanks for that Ginger bear, it has had atttention to detail, lots of cash spent on so many new parts by previous owner/owners, it needed the carbs sorting maybe thats why they moved it on i dont know. I have spent time running through all possibles with it and now realise carb no 3 it not fuelling ...

Update, i now find receipts from Debben performance that this engine was fitted with 389 performance cams, adjustable sprockets and bigger stailess valves with the ports and seats cut and blended, WOW what a bonus. Carbs off now to check the pilots as too rich low down, they are 28mm Z1R and thank you for your help with the identifying. Hi can anyone help here to identify the differrence between Z1000 A1 carbs and Z1R carbs from the outside or code number. i know if i took them off i could measure them as Z1000 are 26mm and Z1R are 28mm.
