Just remove the fuel pipes and slide the tank backwards and upwards

Cheers

Thanks PJ, I assume tank comes off with tap so can empy remaining fuel by opening tap. Bone question I am sure.

Z900 A4 Tank Removal

Not really great with mechanicals but before attempting to remove for re-painting, could anyone tell me how best to remove the tank on a Z900A4?

Is it quite straight forward or are there any gotchas I need to look out for?

Thanks in advance from a mechanical luddite!

Z900 No 7 Bolt?

The garage when i picked up from it service had a flat battery. When they replaced the battery they took the bolt off to get tax dis...

Don't do what I did once, many years ago..... Purchased a "new old stock" Takasago 19" rim and took it to a wheel-builder with hub and spokes, only to find out it was a 36 hole wheel from a "Suzuki". The wheel-builder was half way thru the preliminary spoke fitting, when he...

Re: Wheel spoke re-use

Can I re-use the existing spokes the easy answer is YES. if your spokes are in good condition they will be fine to use. Do you have a wheel builder local to you? I am not aware of any wheel builder near Aylesbury but if anyone knows one that would be great. I have a spare front takasago rim which I...

Wheel spoke re-use

I am intending to get my z900-a4 rims rechromed. Can I re-use the existing spokes which seem pretty perfect?

Any help on this welcome.

Thanks

Z900 A4 Wheels Re-chrome

Need to have my Z900 Spoked Wheels rechromed. Anyone know a good re-chromer? Near Aylesbury would be good.

If anyone has done this, could you let me know how stripped down will the wheels need to be?
