I have stripped the carbs down (again) and the needle emulsion tubes are pitted, the keyster kit at NRP includes emulsion tubes are they not good quality ? My mate Jeff didn't have a problem with the NRP kits. I got the Genuine Mikuni items from Allens Performance. So either should do the trick. I ...

Z1000 MKII Chainguard.
Anyone know if there is a chain-guard from a modern bike that will fit the MarkII ?
(I don't like the ugly black plastic OE one & I don't like the chrome kawasaki ones that you see on an LTD).

Had a similar problem with my Mark II when I raised the needle to cure a mid range flat spot. Raising the needle 1 notch cured the flat spot but the revs would hang in the same way as yours.
