Hmmm, I must be missing something.
I have the hinges with those little tangs on them, but I dont see what they do. In the pictures in the other thread the seat is open and those tangs are doing nothing ! Can you explain how it's supposed to support the seat please ?

The kz900 that acquired recently hasn't got a seat stand and the seat folds right open and seems to rest on the side panel. Obviously not ideal, yet I can't see anything on either the underside seat or the frame under the seat where a seat stand might be missing. There must be a seat stand of sorts ...

Hi, I have a KZ900 with a knackered lefthand handlebar switchgear (the hi/lo button is snapped off). I notice that it doesn't seem to have a flash button like the UK ones do, question is, would a UK one work (either with or without the flash function working), or does it need to be a replacement KZ ...

Assuming I can make the date, would it be acceptable for me to come along to the rally that's not a rally, on my Kawasaki that's not a Z ? That's if I haven't acquired one by then of course !
